Treatment Center Finder Expands Their Addiction Hotline
The problem of addiction has risen dramatically in recent years in the United States. In October of 2013 it was stated by the U.S. Department of Health and Human services that around 20.4 million people were involved in illicit drug use over the past 30 days. The 2012 National Survey on Drug Use and Health shows an average increase of 10% in drug and alcohol abuse across all ages and addiction types. Addictions to drugs or alcohol was stable from 2002 until 2006 according to NSDUH but has since showed an increase, rising since then to the present day. (more…)
